Mark Padfield | Secretary

Mark Padfield is a Fellow in the Society of Actuaries, and spent a 30-year career with Hewitt Associates – an employee benefits consulting firm (now a part of Aon). As a partner in the firm, he served as the lead pension actuary for several large firms including Wachovia Bank (now part of Wells Fargo) and Duke Energy. After retiring, he worked in a volunteer capacity for over 12 years in the accounting department at JAARS, the aviation arm for Wycliffe Bible Translators. He also served as Finance Chair for several years at Weddington United Methodist Church in Charlotte. Mark graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College (in Minnesota) and also earned a Masters in Mathematics from the University of Michigan.

Mark and his wife Louise moved to Reynolds Lake Oconee in early 2022 from Charlotte, NC where they and their 3 daughters lived for the past 22 years. He and his wife both sing in the Lake Country Chorus and he enjoys tennis.
